In the last decade of 20th-century developments in the field of information technology led to the advent of digital technology. And the digital technology brought with itself various changes in the society of 21st century as the impact of globalization on this was sufficient in itself to shake the relations in the society. The teenagers who were born in the 1990s also known as ‘Gen Z‘ had grown enough in the first decade of the 21st century to use the cutting edge technologies. The younger generations have been affected by the advent of technology in multiple ways as these technologies have brought the world closer and have transformed the way of interaction and communication. And with the interactions between human beings getting changed whether be of younger generations or older one; the social relations are bound to change. But this paper is focussed on that age group whose life is most affected by the technology i.e. teenagers. The paper studies what challenges new digital technology poses before our teenagers and how they are affected and their behavioural patterns change because of this technological advancement.
